English Oak. Hand selected, locally sourced west country solid oak planed to 33mm thick is our choice for this lovely two piece table top. A hard wearing, beautifully tactile hardwood that tends to have far more grain variation than imported oak. You’ll often find amazing swirls and contrasts throughout the timber resulting in each and every table top being completely unique! We also make a point of wire brushing the grain before finishing with natural oil to leave a lovely depth and feel to the wood.
THE FRAME STYLE: A trapezium style frame, hand made from solid 2” English oak throughout. Hand crafted, with a clean modern look.
TABLE FINISHES: We offer hard wearing clear oil as standard but also havev many other tinted oils are available on request. We can even paint the frame for a completely different look! Do get in touch if you have something particular in mind.
