The Yaffle & Bosk Farmhouse Table – A Pure Classic
We’ve stripped back our more colourful cousin, Mouse No. 2, to reveal a beautifully pure, traditional farmhouse classic; Mouse Pure No. 6. With our signature Yaffle & Bosk craftsmanship it features beautifully hand-turned English hardwood legs fitted to a solid frame, topped off with a sleek, yet robust English oak or ash plank-style top; this table is pure class.
Custom-built in a wide range of sizes to suit any space, this table lets the beauty of the timber do the talking; the swirls, knots and character of Oak, or the sleek, calming pale olive grain of Ash. Decisions, decisions. Either way, timeless in design and full of personality, this is an heirloom-quality kitchen/dining table made to bring warmth, style, and character to everyday living.
The Top
Hand selected, locally sourced west country solid oak or ash timber planed to 33mm thick is entirely your choice for this lovely two piece table top. Both hard wearing, beautifully tactile hardwoods that have their own unique character. You’ll find amazing swirls and contrasts throughout the timber resulting in each and every table top being completely unique! We also make a point of wire brushing the wood grain before finishing with oil to leave a lovely depth and feel to the wood.
Please note: this top is supplied in two pieces as standard, with a subtle grooved joint running lengthways along the centre as a design feature. If you prefer not to have this visible joint, please let us know in comments box when ordering.
The Frame Style
Hand turned here in Devon, we marry English oak or ash legs with a super sturdy frame, bracing and handmade oak ‘button’ fixings. This is a hardworking but beautifully subtle design which allows for the timber to ‘breathe’ as it responds to the changing humidity levels of its surroundings. You may not notice any change – and that’s the point – it just quietly and confidently gets on with doing its thing so you can get on with yours.

Your Place in the Workshop
Each Yaffle & Bosk piece begins with the careful sourcing of British-grown hardwood — hand selected for its beauty, character and provenance. Once found, it’s prepared and crafted by hand with care — and that takes time.
The timeline below gives an indication of the number of commission slots we have available and the corresponding delivery time. We operate on an 8-10 week lead time, but our schedule shifts with the seasons, depending on availability of materials and workshop capacity, so if you have a specific deadline in mind — or simply want to start the conversation — we’d love to hear from you.
