Introducing Block No.27 – Bold, Chunky, and Unapologetically Solid
Make a statement with Block No.27, the latest addition to our handcrafted collection. Big, broad, and full of presence, this table is all about clean confidence and contemporary impact. Built on the success of our popular Nook design, we’ve taken its sleek Scandinavian silhouette and given it a bold new edge—squaring off the frame and scaling up the proportions for a more powerful, grounded aesthetic.
With chunky 2-inch solid hardwood frames and a 1.5 inch thick top, this is a table that means business. Shown here in our signature lime wash finish, Block No.27 balances rugged strength with refined style, making it the perfect centrepiece for modern interiors that appreciate substance as much as style.
Whether you’re furnishing a spacious kitchen diner or a contemporary open-plan living space, this design is made to impress—and built to last. Each table is made to order in our Devon workshop and can be fully customised to your preferred size, finish, and colour.
The Leg Style
A square, 90 degree frame. We use solid 4”x 2” timber, hand jointed and finished to match your top.

- 6 seats (2100mm x 900mm x 775mm)
- 8 seats (2400mm x 900mm x 775mm)

Whether you need a larger table or a custom finish, every piece in our Yaffle & Bosk collection is 100% customisable.
The Wood: English Ash or Oak
We use locally sourced west country solid, chunky 2” oak for the frames and 1.5″ for the top which is full of interesting patterns and grain variations. Highly figurative timber results in each and every table being completely unique! As with all our tables we could make this for you using other timbers such as English ash or sweet chestnut (please do contact us for availability and more information). We make a point of wire brushing the wood prior to applying the finish oil to leave a lovely tactile feel and depth to the grain.
The Finishes
We offer hard wearing clear oil or a lime washed look as standard but many other tinted oils are available on request. We can even paint the frames for a completely different look! Do get in touch if you have something particular in mind.
Built to order, made to last.
